Will my bamboo bedding shrink, pill, or fade? +

Cared for properly, bamboo bedding resists pilling and holds its color well. A small amount of shrinkage (typically up to about 5%) can happen in the first wash, which is normal for natural fibers — washing cold and drying on low heat keeps it to a minimum. High dryer heat is the most common cause of shrinkage and fiber damage, so "low and slow" is the rule

How do I wash and care for my bamboo bedding? +

To keep your bamboo bedding soft and lasting longer:

  • Machine wash cold or warm (up to 30°C / 86°F) on a gentle cycle.
  • Use a mild, bleach-free detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners — softeners coat the fibers and reduce breathability over time.
  • Wash separately from rough fabrics like towels or denim, and from anything with zippers or hooks that could snag the weave.
  • Tumble dry on low or line dry, and remove promptly to minimize wrinkles. Avoid high heat, which can cause shrinkage.
  • Iron on a low setting only if needed.

What makes linen bedding special? +

Linen is made from the flax plant and is one of the most durable natural fibers — often stronger and longer-lasting than cotton. It's highly breathable and moisture-wicking, which helps it stay cool and dry in warm weather and feel comfortable year-round. Linen also has a relaxed, natural texture, and one of its best qualities is that it becomes softer and more supple with every wash, so it actually improves with age and use.

How do I care for my linen bedding? +

Linen is low-maintenance and gets better over time:

  • Machine wash cold or warm on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach.
  • Wash separately from heavier fabrics, and don't overload the machine — linen likes room to move.
  • Tumble dry on low and remove while slightly damp, or line dry. Avoid high heat, which can cause shrinkage and stiffness.
  • A relaxed, slightly wrinkled look is natural to linen and part of its charm. If you prefer it crisp, iron while damp on a medium-hot setting; otherwise, simply smooth it out by hand.
Will my linen bedding shrink, pill, or fade? +

Linen is exceptionally durable and naturally resists pilling. Quality linen holds its color well when washed correctly. Like most natural fibers, linen can shrink slightly in its first wash (typically around 3–5%) — washing cold and drying on low heat keeps this to a minimum. To protect the color, wash with similar shades, avoid bleach, and avoid drying in direct sunlight for long periods. With proper care, linen tends to soften and improve over years of use rather than wear out.
